Perceus is quickly growing! We would like to thank everyone that has been evangelizing for us, as our installation numbers have been shooting through the roof! We love you guys! Thanks for everything!
Perceus 1.3 has been undergoing a lot of development! Releases come fast and furious, and we fix things realtime as they come out. Also, remember that every update in the 1.3 tree is compatible thus no major upgrade risks as we release new versions and make Perceus even better and easier for all of you. While we know this means changes in usage, and letting us know when things aren't working just right, and submitting information back is making the difference. Any bug that gets found has our upmost dedication to fixing it and making the product that much better. Thanks for keeping the mailing list active!
Next week is SC07, one of the largest HPC focused events in industry! Infiscale and Perceus will be represented in several booths that we know of already! We would like to build a list of vendors that will demoing Perceus, Warewulf, Caos, or Abstractual so we can help refer people to you at the show. Please contact us ASAP if you will have any Infiscale projects in your booths so we can add you the the SC07 announcement, and thanks for helping us help the community.
Ars Technica (big greetings to Jon and all the other awesome writers over there) have written an article mentioning some of what Infiscale has been working on with Intel. Please check it out at:

What to help with Perceus, Caos, Warewulf, or any of the up and coming Infsicale projects? If so, we want to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to work on some very cool projects with us and get in on some of the details of the next big thing in Enterprise HPC.
For those of you that haven't tried Caos NSA yet, you are missing out on what Linux can be on the server. A Linux solution focused on exactly what Linux naturally excels at is now even better. Remember we all started using Linux because it was not bloated and it was free? Well thats NSA; non bloated and free, Linux the way mom use to bake.
NSA comes with Perceus, and also includes automatic configuration via "sidekick", the Caos configuration tool. Combining easy configuration with the fastest installer around means zero to cluster in almost no effort and everything you need to get started.
Check out the latest version of Caos NSA 1.0 beta at: http://www.caoslinux.org
Again, many thanks for being part of the development of the Infiscale project line, and we are very anxious to bring you more including our new Abstractual.
The Infiscale team.
